Damir Dizdarević, Program Coordinator at the Foundation BFPE for a Responsible Society, took part in this year’s prestigious European Forum Alpbach, where he shared insights into the Regional School for Political Development—a key initiative aimed at fostering democratic values, regional cooperation, and policy innovation in the Western Balkans.
On the margins of the Forum, Dizdarević introduced the goals and achievements of the School, which recently completed its first generation of participants. The initiative brings together young political leaders, activists, and professionals from across the region to promote dialogue, build democratic resilience, and generate forward-looking policy proposals.
During the forum, Dizdarević highlighted several concrete policy ideas that emerged from the inaugural cohort—underscoring the importance of youth-led solutions to regional challenges. He emphasized that the School not only provides a platform for political education but also encourages real-world impact through collaborative policy development.
The European Forum Alpbach, known for its role in connecting thought leaders, policy-makers, and innovators from across Europe and beyond, provided an ideal venue to showcase the regional potential and shared vision cultivated through the School.
