Đurica Stojanović

Đurica Stojanović is born on May 6th 1996 in Pirot, Serbia. He completed his Bachelor and Master studies of Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš. Currently, he is a first-year PhD student of doctoral studies in Philosophy at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Belgrade. The area of his research is Philosophy of Politics with a special interest in Civil Disobedience and protest, Philosophy of Education, Philosophy for Children, and Ethics. He has been a participant of many seminars, schools, courses and workshops. Some of them are the Summer School on Social Engagement and Democracy ANDEM 2022, The School of Better Future, and the workshop ,,Active for Social Change’’ which were organized by the Institute of Philosophy and Social Theory in Belgrade. As well as the school ,,Humanistic in Transition’’ and ,,The School of Migration’’ which were organized by Group 484. In 2020. he has started his social and political engagement in the NGO sector in Niš, Serbia. Currently, as an active member of the Green-left front party in Niš, he is interested in problems of education , social inequalities, ecology, urban development and housing policies. He enjoys photography and stand-up comedy.
