Filip Ivanovski

Filip Ivanovski is a Junior Advisor at the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) where he works on development projects in the Western Balkans region. Previously, he was part of the IPA Funds Management Unit at the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Macedonia and has also been engaged in a project implemented by the Swiss Embassy in Skopje. Filip holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia and a master’s degree in European Affairs from University of Toronto. He comes from Skopje where in 2022 he successfully led the process of creating the City Youth Assembly. Filip was the first appointed Youth Officer in the country and was also involved in the creation of the National Youth Strategy (2023-2027) and the National Youth Action Plan (2023-2025). He has experience with implementing various activities on local and national levels that contribute to the fulfilment of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and is very enthusiastic about environmental protection and Green Agenda for the Western Balkans.
